As I sit here and type this, I can barely see the screen through the tears, this story has truly touched my heart. Tamburellos, you must have all gone through torture, 33 months and some change before justice was served?? After reading this story, it is hard as a civil servant to tell you that not all government is bad, and that government is there for the good of the common man. No words can ever express the sorrow and Catch-22 of this position. Nevertheless, justice was served, and for that I am elated because although you cannot bring him back, your son can rest in peace. I, like many other people, am a huge fan of CT on the MTV series and have loved him since the days before this tragedy. Although, in the past, he did some things he is ashamed of and shouldn’t have done, he came back to the show(s) put his heart on his sleeves and his cards on the table. It's like I've seen him grow into the man his brother would be soo proud of. I know this sounds superstition and possibly crazy but in my culture we make lots of sacrifices in the name of the family (sacrificial lamb, giving time/money to those in need etc.) as a way to protect the family from the evil people put on you as a result of the evil they speak of you by the things they see or hear, (in America they we refer to them as ‘haters’). We do this to protect those you love from people who, for whatever reason, want to bring anybody or anything happy or positive down into the pits of their misery. These are the miserable people that love company, who instead of looking within to change for the better they blame anything or anyone around them for their sadness, bad luck, or whatever negative bubble they permeate in. I say this because I'm sure CT, since the days of RW Paris to the MTV Challenges, has had millions of people speak ill/evil of him simply by what they see on TV. Pray and sacrifice for the protection of your family. Mom and Dad Tamburello, you guys are amazing parents, the dedication, the raw emotion displayed in these posts, it is apparent that you live for your family and NO PARENT SHOULD BURY THEIR CHILD. I don’t know you and I pray you find peace. Nothing can bring your son back but he lives through you guys. He also lives through anybody with a heart that has come by this website, or knows about this tragedy. Your son will outlive is life, and that is a true testament to the man he was, is and will always be to you and anybody else who loved him. Sorry for the long post but God bless you Tamburellos and remember what goes around comes around. May nothing but love, peace and prosperity come back around to you. XO

I think about your family all the time and it saddens me to read about your struggles with the trial. I can't imagine how difficult the past few years have been and it's incredibly admirable how strong you all have been. I will continue to pray for Vinnie.

CT I just found this website after hearing about you mention your brother and like many others was curious. But I never expected this! My condolences to you and your family. My wife and I read the entire website and she can't stop crying. I can't imagine that a justice official could be so rotten. I'm glad you got justice and I hope that you and your family can eventually find some peace.

CT, you are a beast of a man and I think your parents raised a good son. So sorry for your loss and keep being a man. I only pray these cowards get what they deserve, and looks like they will :)

I have been a CT fan ever since his RW Paris season and have enjoyed seeing him on all of the Challenges. I, like so many others, stumbled on this site after being curious to find out what happened to CT's brother. I have spent the past 4 hours reading every single post on this site. Vin Sr. you, your wife and entire family are amazing, strong people. No wonder you have raised such a magnetic rockstar son in CT. I am sure Lil' Vinnie as you have referred to him as, was every bit as magnetic as CT. I cannot imagine the heartache and struggles that your family has gone through over these past 3+ years in dealing with the loss and fight for justice of Vinnie. This website is a labor of love and an amazing tribute to your son and his life. I am sure he is smiling down on the whole family and is guardian angel to you all. Congratulations on the conviction and sentencing of the shooter, Kyle Bolaski and I hope that justice is served on the others involved. I felt compelled to post a message on this board because Vinnie's story touched me so deeply. May you be able to make peace with the events surrounding his death and rely on your happy memories of him to comfort you from here on out. Find a way to put it behind you and spend the rest of your days enjoying the wonderful family that you have left. CT is clearly an amazing person and I know you must be very proud of him. Lift him up as I know Vinnie must be with his angel wings. Thanks for sharing your family's story. I will never forget the Tamburello family story.

I was actually watching ct on the challenge and just mentioned the loss of his brother so I just looked up this site to find out what happened and I just sat on my bed and read every word that you have wrote from top to bottom I'm truely sobbing right now I cant even imagine the pain in losing your son. There are no words for what those brothers deserve and I'm glad to see that justice was served although I could think of a very fitting course of justice myself. A close friend of mine was murdered in 2001 in abington ma and his killer in his last trial is begging to not be put to death. These people are sick and now hearing your story I will forever keep u in my prayers thank u for sharing

Praise God, one down, a few more to go. Vin, I cannot begin to tell you what an inspiration you and your website have been to me as I pursue justice for my nephew, Ryan Adam Moon. It is so hard, but it's people like you that keep me going. It is eerie how similar our cases are. I am sure there are many more families out there suffering. I pray they find the strength to continue their fight. Thank you again for mentioning Adam and his story on your Cases of Misconduct link. Keep up the fight, I know you will.

I was so relieved to hear Bolaski has been put away. Now if only the state puts the other people away these streets will be a lot safer. I read the grand jury and their statements and their accounts at trial. If the state allows them to go unpunished they should hang their heads in shame. The same goes for Sand he should be disbarred and face justice himself for what he did.

Mr. Tamburello I want you to know that your efforts to get justice for your son is amazing! I don't know if I would be able to keep the fight as I would have thought it impossible to fight against the state. But you proved that you can fight and win. You've shown tremendous courage. I also want you to know that through a friend in the Windsor County court system that Robert Sand is now looked upon with scorn and disrespect. Thank you for bringing out the truth about him. Hopefully he'll resign.

In reading your story it quickly became clear that this verdict was an important step not only in Justice for your son but for the entire justice system. It is embarassing to me as a Vermonter the Sands is still "serving." I am very sorry for your loss and for the way your son was taken from you. I am proud to know that people such as yourselves exist who are willing to fight for what they know is right. Your story proves it is possible for the people to overcome a broken system. It will be a shame if this all blows over and Sands is allowed to hurt more people.

You should be proud of what you've done in the face of Roobert Sand's clear incompetence and the lack of remorse or understanding from the Bolaski family and friends. I hope you all feel proud, and though the tragedy may have lost you a son, may it have nonetheless brought you further together as a family.

There is only one word to describe what you have done, INCREDIBLE. You fought against all the odds, against an entire state government, yet you came up victorious! Hold your head high Mr. Tamburello you are one INCRDIBLE person. Your son is very proud of you. God Bless you!

Vinnie & Ronnie, I can't tell you how grateful I am that justice has been served. I have watched u fight when u should've been grieving & the strength I have seen from both of u...there r no words, simply inspirational. I'd like to say it's time for our family to move on & heal, but I know u won't rest until everyone involved is prosecuted & convicted. I do pray that knowing he will spend at least 25 yrs locked away, like the animal he is, will bring u one step closer to closure. I miss my big cousin every day, but I know he's around & so proud of u both. Remember the hawk! Love u both!

I did not atttend the sentencing hearing, but from the news accounts,Bolaski didn't sound too remorseful. He DID sound sorry for himself however. And NOW the defense is trying to say he had a substance abuse problem AND he was an upstanding ciitizen???? Interesting combo. Word on the street is that Bolaski was a thug and a jerk for a long time before this murder. Now, on to putting Blanchard and Ucci behind bars.

Hello Vincent Sr. & Family- I was wondering if you were planning on pursuing charges against the others involved. And, if so, how? What has Mr. Lavoie said about this? Thanks for your time and God Bless.

Thank heavens the judge is keeping Bolaski in prison for a long time...not as long as Vinnie's family has suffered since Vinnie's murder. Now, let's pray that the other liars and cheats involved that weekend will have justice served on them. Bless Vinnie's family. This doesn't bring him back, but Bully Bolaski is gone for a long long time...and he's engaged??? Pathetic that Jerry Ucci's sister would waste her life waiting for Kyle.

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. -- A Vermont man is going to prison for 25-years-to-life for shooting a man in a Chester park following a dispute. Kyle Bolaski, 28, was sentenced Friday in court in White River Junction. The sentencing focused on the losses in two families: one whose son is dead, the other whose son will spend a majority of his life in prison. Last May, Bolaski was found guilty of second-degree murder for the shooting death of Vincent “Vinnie” Tamburello on Aug. 17, 2008.
